My parents sent along some pictures from the weekend that they visited. I love them all, and therefore want to broadcast them all over the internets!

On Saturday we were originally going to go into town. As we neared the parking garage and there were abnormally large hordes of people, we realized that parking there was just not going to happen. As we were routed around the city, we realized there was some sort of parade going on. And as we thought about it, we realized that a city tour was not going to happen on that day. So, instead, I took them to some of my favorite places around. First stop (post-downtown) was Manito Park. So there were a lot of areas not yet in bloom, it was still gorgeous nonetheless.
We also went to Riverside State Park, and toured around Eastern a bit, which made for a full day. On Sunday, D joined us as we did some typical Spokane tourismo stuff. We ate at Franks Diner, which is an old train car that has been revamped into a small diner.

My mom and dad are so cute
Such as, which I am sure I would not have done if my parents had not wanted to, ride the gondolas over the Falls.

I am glad that they visited. My Dad said, "I can see why you enjoy it out here so much. It's beautiful." It really is, too. Though, I could live without the people.....
