Congratulations

I just want to take a second to brag.  Not about myself... my brother got offered a Microsoft research internship.  He was in a class that three of the four decision-makers led, and was encouraged to apply for it.  After one phone interview he got the internship! (Last year he applied for it, but after 3-4 interviews didn't make it).  It is apparently a very competitive internship.

This from the family that, when trying to come up with important events for our Christmas winter nonexistent(?) letter, both of my brothers came to a slow realization, with very little ado, that they had both picked up a masters this year, on their way to their PhDs.  That being the second masters for above brother.  Yeah, that's my family in a nutshell.
