There is a new lesbian bar in town, and out of curiosity D and I went out last night. It's a bar and bistro, but there is a fairly limited selection on the food end. The place is pretty neat: a large(ish) brick building that is mostly open and has a pool table, a basketball court, a stage for music, and a depressed make-out corner. That's depressed as in lowered, not sad. Yesterday was their music night, so we listened to an adorable band sing primarily cover songs. They did it really well too. Overall, I think it may become my new favorite place. Really nice atmosphere. And, there were tables full of lesbians and it made me feel like I was in the L Word. Which has definitely not happened in Spokane before.
Fridays are Ladies Nights. So, I think next time I'm off we will be heading out there on a Friday. Maybe wrangle up every lesbian friend we (and by 'we', I mean D) have and go out for a fun night.
